On Thursday, June 4th, Naval Lodge will be conducting a regular communication meeting, which will open promptly at 7:30 p.m.
The program is entitled: From Cathedrals to the Cosmos. With the launch a few weeks back of Artemis II, we are reminded of a long tradition of freemasons venturing out into space. Freemasonry has always been an institution of the frontier, and it should come as no surprise that from the very first astronauts, the Craft has played a role in humanity's journey beyond Earth. This presentation will explore the connections between the U.S. space program and Freemasonry, tracing how members of the fraternity helped shape America's first steps into the cosmos.
This meeting is open to Masons and non-Masons. All are invited to join us for dinner from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 2nd, so that we can plan accordingly for dinner.
